Within the hallway, the room did not need a full redo; adding the piece was enough to make it feel considered.
For my study, one addition made this room feel much less pieced together, and it was this case piece. I can change smaller things around this case piece without feeling like the whole plan for my study has to change. What surprised me was how much calmer the room seemed, especially during the ordinary parts of the week. I would make the same decision for my study again.
I appreciate how this piece contributes to the dining room without competing with everything around it. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and the room feels more settled. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
