This was one of the last purchases after our renovation, and it made our main sitting area feel genuinely finished. It gives the seating area a clear center without making the room feel formal. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and the room feels more settled. The overall effect in our main sitting area is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. Our main sitting area feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
The balance in our main sitting area changed for the better once the piece was there. The room feels more grown-up now, but it still feels like a place we actually live in.
