I had a hard time deciding what our bedside area was missing, and the nightstand turned out to be the answer.
This is not furniture we tiptoe around; this bedside table simply feels like part of the house now. I wish I had planned the surrounding pieces around it sooner; once I did, the room made more sense.
From the first glance across my primary bedroom, I wanted something we would enjoy every day, and this bedside table has become exactly that in this room. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
For the mood we wanted in the guest bedroom, even when the room is not perfectly tidy, this piece still makes the overall space feel intentional. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially when everything is not perfectly styled. I like that this piece works with what we already had in the guest bedroom instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. It took me a few days to get used to the change in the room, but I would still choose it again.
