Barclay Butera Upholstery Avery Wing Chair - 30.5 Inch

Here in the living room, this chair has a natural place in the space now, whether we are using the space or just walking through. It has become part of the everyday rhythm of the space. I was hoping this chair would pull the living room together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and this got us much closer to it. It took me a few days to get used to the change in the room, but I would still choose it again.

Here in the living room, I notice the piece most during the ordinary parts of the day, which is probably the best compliment I can give it. What surprised me was how much calmer the room seemed, especially once the smaller decor went back into the room.

It is easy to appreciate this piece on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in the reading corner. This piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
