I bought this piece for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in our bedroom.
In our sitting area, this was the piece that made the room stop feeling half-finished. It made the corner feel inviting rather than simply filled. The end result in our sitting area feels like our home, only more finished.
I usually need time to warm up to new furniture, but the seat made sense in our sitting area right away. It fits the way we actually use the room. I was aiming for a more intentional room without a full redesign, and this got us much closer to it. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. I like how the seat gives our sitting area a clearer point of view without taking over. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
