To my eye in our family room, the best part is that the piece looks intentional in the room without asking for all the attention. What surprised me was how much the whole arrangement improved with one choice, especially when I see it from the doorway.
Getting our living room ready for visiting family pushed me to finally choose the table, and I am glad it did. I wanted the room to feel welcoming before people arrived, not overly decorated.
