The nicest part is how naturally this table became part of our everyday use of my main dining space. The dining area feels more inviting whether it is a quick weekday meal or a longer dinner. It ended up being a stronger finishing touch than I expected. I spent more time than expected deciding on the placement, though I am happy with it now.

Looking at our dining room now, there is something nice about furniture that makes the space feel better without changing how you live in it. The table has become part of our normal rhythm without making the room feel formal. The dining area finally feels like a place we actually want to linger. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our dining room.

Looking at our dining area now, I chose this table because I liked it, but the fact that everyone else responded well was a nice bonus. The different opinions in our house finally landed in the same place.
