When I look at my living room as a whole, the best sign is that this piece already feels like part of our regular routine in this room. The room feels more inviting during quiet evenings at home. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and this got us much closer to it. I was aiming for a more intentional room without a full redesign, and this got us much closer to it. I am pleased with the decision and with how my living room came together.
From one side of our family room to the other, I was trying to keep the room comfortable rather than overly styled, and this piece fits that goal. I was aiming for a piece that would add presence without taking over, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. I wanted the room to feel finished without feeling formal, and this gets very close to that balance. This piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
As part of the everyday room, I notice this seating piece most during the ordinary parts of the day, which is probably the best compliment I can give it. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
