In our bedroom, our routine did not have to change around this piece; it slid into the room naturally.
I had been overthinking this part of the bedroom; this piece solved the visual problem more simply than I expected. The space feels more restful and finished now. From different parts of the bedroom, this piece still feels like it belongs with everything else. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and it fits the house better than I expected. For me, that makes this piece one of the better choices we made for the bedroom.
For our guest bedroom, this piece turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. I can change smaller things around this piece without feeling like the whole plan for our guest bedroom has to change.
