My partner was less sure about this piece than I was, but now we both agree it works in our bedroom. The corner feels more inviting now without looking staged. I can change smaller things around this piece without feeling like the whole plan for our bedroom has to change. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.

I kept the rest of the reading corner simple, and this piece gives the space just enough presence. The room feels more deliberate, but not like someone styled it just for a photo.
