Morning and evening, this cabinet simply works with how we actually live in my dining room.
For my study, the cabinet turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. It has enough presence to matter without making the whole room revolve around it. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that the cabinet is part of my study. I am pleased with the decision and with how my study came together.
