To my eye in my living room, the furniture we keep long term is usually the furniture that disappears into our routine, and the media console is already doing that. The TV area feels much more intentional during an ordinary evening at home. I was aiming for a piece that would add presence without taking over, and it fits the house better than I expected. It took me a few days to get used to the change in the room, but I would still choose it again.
In our day-to-day setup, there is something nice about furniture that makes the room feel better without changing how you live in it.
When I look at our TV room as a whole, instead of changing everything in the space, I added the piece, and that was enough.
