In the finished room, the piece works just as well for a quiet evening as it does when the house is busy. It made a surprisingly big difference to the way the bedroom reads as a whole.
Here in our primary bedroom, what I like most about this bedside table is how naturally it belongs in the space. I was hoping this bedside table would pull our primary bedroom together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. From different parts of our primary bedroom, this bedside table still feels like it belongs with everything else. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. I am pleased with the decision and with how our primary bedroom came together.
For the mood we wanted in our guest bedroom, it has been a quiet upgrade to this room and one we appreciate more in daily use than we expected. It has become part of the bedroom routine without drawing too much attention. I was aiming for a more intentional room without a full redesign, and it fits the house better than I expected. The room feels more grown-up now, but it still feels like a place we actually live in. The end result in our guest bedroom feels like our home, only more finished.
