The nicest part is how naturally this nightstand became part of our everyday use of our guest bedroom. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially when I see it from the doorway. This nightstand is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
There is a more finished rhythm to our bedside area now, and the nightstand anchors it nicely. It ended up being a stronger finishing touch than I expected. It made a surprisingly big difference to the way the bedroom reads as a whole. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
