I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet the chest noticeably improved the way our primary bedroom comes together. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. There is enough character to notice without making the space feel busy. For me, that makes the chest one of the better choices we made for our primary bedroom.
In the guest room, I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and this chest does that in the room. I was aiming for a room that felt collected over time rather than decorated all at once. It has settled into the room in a very natural way. It gives the room a clear anchor without making the space feel crowded. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
