I needed one extra round of rearranging around this piece, but my work room feels much more complete now.
We added this work table while settling into our new home, and it helped our work room feel like ours much sooner. New spaces can feel temporary for a while, and this helped ours move past that stage. I was aiming for a space that felt finished without looking formal, and the change feels noticeable without feeling dramatic. I am pleased with the decision and with how our work room came together.
The best part is that this piece looks intentional in our home office without asking for all the attention. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. The space feels more focused without becoming too formal. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our home office needed.
One addition made the work room feel much less pieced together, and it was the piece. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially once the smaller decor went back into the room. I am glad I took the time to choose the piece.
