For our guest bedroom, this bed turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. The overall effect in our guest bedroom is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. The space feels more restful and finished now. The bedroom has a calmer, more complete feeling now. This bed is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
