We had been putting off our primary bedroom until the rest of the house was done; the bed made the wait feel worthwhile. It helped the room feel lived in rather than newly assembled. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and it fits the house better than I expected. The best part for me is that our primary bedroom still feels relaxed even with the bed giving it more structure. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our primary bedroom needed.
The best part is that this piece looks intentional in our guest bedroom without asking for all the attention.
