In our bedside area, what I like most about this piece is how naturally it belongs in this room. Seeing this piece with the rest of our bedside area makes the whole arrangement feel more connected.
I was aiming for understated, and this nightstand landed in the right place visually. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this nightstand is part of the guest bedroom. Seeing this nightstand with the rest of the guest bedroom makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. I can change smaller things around this nightstand without feeling like the whole plan for the guest bedroom has to change. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
Within our bedroom, my son normally has zero interest in furniture and still had something nice to say about the nightstand.
For the primary bedroom, I like this most when the house is quiet and the space is just being used normally. Seeing this bedside table with the rest of the primary bedroom makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. I was hoping this bedside table would pull the primary bedroom together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
