Even with the rest of the dining area unchanged, this dining table made the setup feel more complete. The room looks intentional without feeling arranged for a photo. I notice it without feeling like the whole room revolves around it. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
Within my main dining space, this has become one of those pieces I stop noticing as new because it fits our routine so well. It has made everyday meals feel more connected to the rest of the room. The overall effect in my main dining space is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. I am glad I did not choose something more ornate for this space. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
