I wanted the house to feel lived in rather than staged, and the bed works well with that idea. I did not need to change the rest of our bedroom for the bed to make sense there. What surprised me was how quickly the room started to feel finished, especially when I look at the room as a whole. I was hoping the bed would pull our bedroom together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. The bed is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
Within the primary bedroom, there is a more finished rhythm to the room now, and this piece anchors it nicely.
