In our bedroom, nothing about daily life in the room feels rearranged around this bedroom piece, and I like that. This bedroom piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
For the guest bedroom, instead of changing everything in the room, I added this bedroom piece, and that was enough. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. I like that this bedroom piece works with what we already had in the guest bedroom instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
Within our guest bedroom, I chose this bedroom piece because I liked it, and it was nice that the rest of the household agreed once it was in the space. I was aiming for a space that felt finished without looking formal, and nothing around it had to change.
