Family came over recently, and this table ended up getting more compliments than anything else in our main dining space. The table has become part of our normal rhythm without making the room feel formal. For me, that makes this table one of the better choices we made for our main dining space.
Within our dining area, the scale of the room feels better to my eye now that the piece is part of the arrangement. The dining area feels more inviting whether it is a quick weekday meal or a longer dinner. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially once the smaller decor went back into the room. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
