I rearranged our bedroom once before the bed felt completely right, but the final result was worth the extra thought.
We added this piece while settling into our new home, and it helped our bedroom feel like ours much sooner. New spaces can feel temporary for a while, and this helped ours move past that stage. The bedroom has a calmer, more complete feeling now. The bed now feels like the true center of the bedroom, which is what the room had been missing. I would make the same decision for our bedroom again.
In our primary bedroom, I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet this piece noticeably improved the way the room comes together. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this piece is part of our primary bedroom. What surprised me was how quickly it stopped feeling like a new addition, especially when I see it from the doorway. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. For me, that makes this piece one of the better choices we made for our primary bedroom.
