Tommy Bahama Home Ocean Breeze Bluffton Sofa

The overall look is calmer now that the sofa is part of the family room. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted.

I like that the seating piece still feels right on an ordinary weekday, not just when the room is cleaned up for company. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and this got us much closer to it.

In my family room, the room feels less temporary with this piece in it. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and this ended up being the right direction. I am glad I took the time to choose this piece.

For our family room, I notice the piece most during the ordinary parts of the day, which is probably the best compliment I can give it. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.
