Vanguard Axis 6-Drawer Chest

The chest works just as well for a quiet evening as it does when the house is busy. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially when I look at the room as a whole.

In the bedroom, the scale of the room feels better to my eye now that the piece is part of the arrangement. It gives the room a clear anchor without making the space feel crowded. The room feels more deliberate, but not like someone styled it just for a photo. For me, that makes the piece one of the better choices we made for the bedroom.

Within the primary bedroom, I usually need time to warm up to new furniture, but this chest made sense in the room right away. The piece helped the room feel collected rather than pieced together. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.

I was trying to keep the bedroom comfortable rather than overly styled, and this chest fits that goal. I like that this chest works with what we already had in the bedroom instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. I am pleased with the decision and with how the bedroom came together.
