The rest of my dining room finally makes more sense around the piece. I was aiming for a more intentional room without a full redesign, and the room feels easier on the eye. It has become a quiet anchor for the dining space. It gives the dining space a stronger sense of balance. It was not an instant yes for everyone in the house, but it grew on us quickly.
Even with the rest of our dining area unchanged, the credenza made the setup feel more complete. The credenza is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
For our main dining space, a couple of guests have mentioned how pulled together the room feels, and this piece deserves some of the credit.
