Nothing about this table feels forced in our living room; it simply makes the arrangement look more intentional. This table is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
After moving, our sitting area was the space that felt least complete, and the table changed that. I notice it without feeling like the whole room revolves around it. It stands out just enough and still lets the rest of the room do its job. I was aiming for a more intentional room without a full redesign, and the overall setup now feels much more coherent. It adds just enough structure to a smaller part of the room. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
From across our reading corner, this side table gives the arrangement a clearer sense of balance. The best part for me is that our reading corner still feels relaxed even with this side table giving it more structure. The end result in our reading corner feels like our home, only more finished.
