Seen from different parts of the house, the sofa helps the den read as a more complete space. I was on the fence for the first day or two, and then it started to feel completely natural in the space. It made the room feel more inviting for everyday life. I would happily choose it again for the same space.
Before this arrived, the den felt a little unresolved; the living room piece brought the whole area together. I have already stopped thinking of it as the new piece, which is probably the best compliment. It quickly became the place everyone gravitates to. I also like how the fabric detail reads in the room without feeling too showy. I can see this staying in the room even if we change some of the surrounding pieces later. It has been a solid addition to the room.
In our daily routine, this seating is easy to appreciate because the living room simply feels better with it. It works with the rest of our furniture instead of competing with it. It works well for both quiet evenings and having people over. No regrets on this one.
I keep noticing that the family room feels more balanced now, especially on Sunday mornings.
