Placed in the living room, the sofa immediately gave the area a calmer and more finished direction. It gives the space some presence while still feeling easy to live with. It has earned its place in the room.
After dinner, I often notice how naturally the seating has become part of the living room. I would still give it four stars only because it took some experimenting to get the room balanced around it. It fits the relaxed way we actually use the room. The upholstered look makes the piece feel appropriate for a relaxed, lived-in room. I would make the same choice again.
