After the first few days, the bedroom piece stopped feeling new and simply started feeling right in the bedroom.
Here in my primary bedroom, there is a more finished rhythm to the room now, and this piece anchors it nicely. The best part for me is that my primary bedroom still feels relaxed even with this piece giving it more structure. The space feels more restful and finished now. It did not take long for the piece to feel like it belonged with everything else. The end result in my primary bedroom feels like our home, only more finished.
Looking at our bedroom now, we do not always agree on furniture, so it was a relief that the bed worked for both of us in this room. I like that the bedroom feels put together without becoming too formal. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
