The accent table gives the reading corner a clearer focal point while keeping the overall mood relaxed. I would still give it four stars only because it took some experimenting to get the room balanced around it. It made the corner feel intentional. I am glad we went with it.
Added to the reading corner, this accent table changed the overall feel without forcing us to redo anything else. A couple of guests have commented on how finished the space looks now. It was the small finishing touch the room needed. The piece has a nice presence in person, but it does not make the rest of the room feel secondary. I am pleased with the decision.
Instead of making the room busier, this accent table gave the bedroom a clearer sense of purpose. I am glad I did not try to fill the spot with something busier.
