Seen with the rest of my bedroom, this table works just as well for a quiet evening as it does when the house is busy. The surrounding seating area feels more complete. I would make the same decision for my bedroom again.
From the doorway into my sitting area, it is easy to appreciate this piece on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in the space. I was aiming for something that felt at home rather than showy, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. From different parts of my sitting area, this piece still feels like it belongs with everything else. For me, that makes this piece one of the better choices we made for my sitting area.
For this part of the house, I notice this side table most during the ordinary parts of the day, which is probably the best compliment I can give it. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially during the ordinary parts of the week.
