Here in our dining area, it is easy to appreciate this piece on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in the room. This piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
One addition made our dining room feel much less pieced together, and it was this dining table. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. It helped bridge a mix of pieces we already had, which made the room feel more cohesive. I was unsure about the overall effect at first, but after living with it, I like the direction.
It is easy to appreciate the dining table on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in our dining area. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. It gives the room a clear center and makes the rest of the dining space feel intentional. The room looks intentional without feeling arranged for a photo. I would make the same decision for our dining area again.
