The balance in our dining area changed for the better once this table was there. It did not take long for the piece to feel like it belonged with everything else. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and the room feels easier on the eye. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our dining area needed.
I notice this dining table most during the ordinary parts of the day, which is probably the best compliment I can give it. I was aiming for a room with a little more structure and a little less visual noise, and it fits the house better than I expected. I can change smaller things around this dining table without feeling like the whole plan for my dining room has to change. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.
