In everyday life, this coffee table adds just enough presence to make the living room feel finished. I would still give it four stars only because it took some experimenting to get the room balanced around it.
Compared with the room before, this coffee table makes the den feel more intentional without adding clutter. It works well with the way we actually use the living room. On busy days I barely notice it, but the room would definitely feel less complete without it. My partner and I usually disagree on furniture, and this was one of the easier choices for both of us.
