Even on busy days, the media cabinet makes the living room feel a little more put together. The first placement did not quite work for me, but moving it slightly made a big difference. It grounds the TV area without making the room feel formal. There was no need to rethink the entire room once it was in place, which I appreciated. The piece has a nice presence in person, but it does not make the rest of the room feel secondary. I am pleased with the decision.
