To my eye, the accent chair gives the reading corner enough structure without making it feel heavy. I was looking for a change I would notice every day, and this has been exactly that. It finished the room without making it feel overdone. The upholstered look makes the piece feel appropriate for a relaxed, lived-in room. It has earned its place in the room.
