On a normal day, this chest feels like it has always belonged in our primary bedroom.
I usually need time to warm up to new furniture, but this chest made sense in my primary bedroom right away. The bedroom feels more balanced with this piece in the mix. The end result in my primary bedroom feels like our home, only more finished.
In the living area, the furniture we keep long term is usually the furniture that disappears into our routine, and the chest is already doing that. I was aiming for a more connected look across the room, and the change feels noticeable without feeling dramatic. The room feels more organized visually even when daily life is happening around it. I would make the same decision for the living area again.
Even the family member who usually ignores furniture noticed this piece. The different opinions in our house finally landed in the same place. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and it fits the house better than I expected. It gives the room a clear anchor without making the space feel crowded. This piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
