For my family room, I had a hard time deciding what the space was missing, and this chair turned out to be the answer. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. There is something nice about furniture that makes the reading corner feel better without changing how you live in it. The setup feels less random now, even though we did not change much else. The best part for me is that the reading corner still feels relaxed even with the chair giving it more structure. I am pleased with the decision and with how the reading corner came together.
