Morning and evening, the chair simply works with how we actually live in our family room. The piece adds definition, but the room still feels comfortable. I am glad I did not choose something more ornate for this space. It makes the space feel intentional from the first glance without looking too perfect. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
As part of my family room, I was trying to keep this room comfortable rather than overly styled, and this seat fits that goal. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and this got us much closer to it.
