- Simply elegant with a restrained use of embellishment, this oval-shaped dining table makes a surprisingly striking statement. With an opaque effect reminiscent of milk glass, its polished, tempered glass top is contrasted by an Almost Black double pedestal base with faceted columns for a hint of traditionalism. Perfect for entertaining and celebrating special occasions, it comfortably seats 12 when fully extended.

I expected the table to blend in a little more, but its stronger presence ended up giving my dining room the direction it needed.
Looking at our main dining space now, I had been overthinking this part of the space; this table solved the visual problem more simply than I expected. The end result in our main dining space feels like our home, only more finished.
For our dining room, this table turned out to be a better fit than the more elaborate options I considered. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this table is part of our dining room. I like how this table gives our dining room a clearer point of view without taking over. I can change smaller decor around it without feeling like the room has to start over. I spent more time than expected deciding on the placement, though I am happy with it now.
We added this table while settling into our new home, and it helped our dining area feel like ours much sooner.
