Within our dining room, the scale of the room feels better to my eye now that the sideboard is part of the arrangement. From different parts of our dining room, the sideboard still feels like it belongs with everything else. I was unsure about the overall effect at first, but after living with it, I like the direction.

Looking at my dining room now, our routine did not have to change around this piece; it slid into the space naturally.
