Within our guest bedroom, I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and this dresser does that in the space. Seeing this dresser with the rest of our guest bedroom makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. What surprised me was how much calmer the room seemed, especially when the house is busy. I did not need to change the rest of our guest bedroom for this dresser to make sense there. The bedroom feels much more settled as part of the normal morning and evening routine. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our guest bedroom needed.
I went back and forth on the placement of this piece, but once I found the right spot in the guest bedroom, the whole setup clicked.
Within my primary bedroom, a lot of furniture looks good by itself, but this piece also works with the rest of the space. What surprised me was how easy it was to keep the room feeling relaxed around it, especially during the ordinary parts of the week.
