In the finished room, the room feels comfortable and finished during the most ordinary parts of our week. The room has a better sense of proportion to my eye now.
From the first glance across our main dining space, the placement feels right, the room feels settled, and I am glad I chose this piece. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. It gives the dining space a stronger sense of balance. It took me a few days to get used to the change in the room, but I would still choose it again.
We chose the sideboard after a major clean-out and reset of our living area, and the space feels much more intentional now. The sideboard is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
