Seen with the rest of the bedroom, I had been overthinking this part of the space; the bedside table solved the visual problem more simply than I expected. I did not need to change the rest of the bedroom for the bedside table to make sense there. Nothing else in the room had to be replaced for the new setup to work. I would make the same decision for the bedroom again.
This bedside table has a little more visual presence in our bedside area than I expected, but I like the room much better with it there.
Seen with the rest of our bedside area, I chose the nightstand because I liked it, and it was nice that the rest of the household agreed once it was in this room.
With everything else left as it was, I notice the room more than the individual piece now, which is exactly the effect I wanted. I appreciate it most during the ordinary evening routine.
