Looking at my main dining space now, my favorite thing is how this piece makes the space feel finished without making it look staged. I did not need to change the rest of my main dining space for this piece to make sense there. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially when the house is busy. The dining area feels ready for both everyday meals and company now. I was aiming for a room that felt collected rather than decorated all at once, and it fits the house better than I expected. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
