A month later, I am even happier with how this console table works in the living area.
My husband thought we could leave our living area as it was, but even he admits the console made the setup better. I wanted the room to feel finished without feeling formal, and this gets very close to that balance. I was aiming for a room with a little more structure and a little less visual noise, and the change feels noticeable without feeling dramatic. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. It was not an instant yes for everyone in the house, but it grew on us quickly.
Within our entryway, I wanted one strong piece without making the space feel busy, and this worked out well. The space feels more mature now without losing the relaxed feeling we wanted. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
