Century Furniture Keith Desk

Within the work corner, the room finally has a focal point that still feels easy to live with. The overall effect in the work corner is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own.

I kept the rest of our study simple, and this piece gives the space just enough presence.

The room feels less temporary with this work table in it. The office feels more focused during the normal weekday routine. There is enough character to notice without making the space feel busy. The visual weight feels right to me, and the room still has plenty of breathing space. This ended up being exactly the kind of update my work corner needed.
