Here in our dining room, on a normal day, this dining table feels like it has always belonged in the room. What surprised me was how much the whole arrangement improved with one choice, especially when I look at the room as a whole. It gives the room a clear center and makes the rest of the dining space feel intentional. I can change smaller things around this dining table without feeling like the whole plan for our dining room has to change. The end result in our dining room feels like our home, only more finished.
Morning and evening, the piece simply works with how we actually live in our main dining space.
I usually need time to warm up to new furniture, but this dining table made sense in the main dining space right away. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me.
I had been overthinking this part of my dining room; this table solved the visual problem more simply than I expected. I notice it without feeling like the whole room revolves around it. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.
